Course Description: This course will review the behavioral and psychological symptoms in Alzheimer’s Disease in detail. You will review the causes of these symptoms and the treatments for this disease. You will also learn the essential information on how to handle a resident that has to live with Alzheimer’s disease. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Behavioral and Psychiatric Symptoms in Alzheimer's Disease in an assisted living or behavioral setting.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
