Course Description: In this course, you will review the restraints that must be taken and performed on a resident to ensure the resident’s safety and to prevent the injuries from getting worse. You will learn the importance of restraints but the safety precautions you must be aware of when performing these restraints. At the end of this course, you will receive 3 in-service units upon passing the exam.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Restraints in an assisted living setting. Remember, restraints are illegal!

·         This course will award a certificate for: 1 In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
