Course Description: In this course, you will learn about pressure ulcers and the causes of pressure ulcers. As a caregiver, you will take care of residents with pressure ulcers. This will be essential information and knowledge to learn because you will have a better understanding of the stages of pressure ulcers, where they occur, and preventative measures you can take. At the end of this course you will earn 1 in-service unit.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Pressure Ulcer Risk in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 1 In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
