Course Description: In this course, you will learn more about medical administration and proper procedures that need to be taken when managing a resident’s medication. You will review the do’s and don’t of medicines, how to transcribe medication sheets, and the side effects of psychotropic medications administered to residents dealing with psychiatric disorders. At the end of this course, you will receive 3 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Medication Management in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 3 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
