Course Description: In this course, you will learn how to assist a resident with standing, walking, positioning and transfers without causing injury to yourself or the resident. You will be given essential information needed to know when you are dealing with mobility equipment such as hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and walkers. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

Tuition Fee: $30.00

(Plus $1 convenience fee if paid by card)

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Transfers and Ambulation in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
