Course Description: In this course, you will review and learn about the kidneys and the importance of their functions. As a caregiver, you will be dealing with residents that will suffer from kidney diseases because the function of kidneys begin to decline at age of 35. You will review the types of kidney disease there are, complications, and how to treat it so you are prepared when you are taking care of a resident that has kidney problems. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

Tuition Fee: $45.00

(Plus $2 convenience fee if paid by card)

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Kidney Aging and Diseases in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 3 In-Service Unit

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
