Course Description: In this course, you will learn about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Parkinson’s Diseases, and Congestive Heart Failure (CHF). You will learn about the causes, risk factors, complications, symptoms, treatments and preventative procedures. This course will be essential to a caregiver because it will better prepare you when you are taking care of someone with these diseases. At the end of this course, you will earn 3 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Parkinson's, CHF and COPD in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 3 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
