Course Description: In this course, you will review what a hoyer lift is used for and how to use a hoyer lift on a patient that is in a lying position or a sitting position. You will also learn the sit to stand lift. This will be essential knowledge to know because you will be performing these procedures daily as a caretaker of disabled residents. At the end of this course you will receive 2 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Hoyer Lifts in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
