Course Description: In this course, you will review types of infections, the cause of infections, and how they are spread. This course contains essential information that a caregiver will need to know in order to prevent the spread of viruses in the environment in which their residents occupy. At the end of this course, you will understand the concept of infection control and how to practice it. You will receive 2 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Infection & Infection Control in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2 In-service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
