Course Description: In this course, you will review the factors of nutrition such as diets, safety, and food preparation. You will review common diets that residents will have to practice due to their medical condition. You will also learn the proper procedures to take when handling food that is administered to the residents to ensure safety. At the end of this course you wil receive 4 in-service units.

This  In-Service course will provide you information regarding Nutrition in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 4  In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
