Course Description: In this course you will review Osteoporosis. This is essential information to learn when coming across a resident who suffers with this disease daily. You will learn the symptoms, risk factors, complications of Osteoporosis. You will also learn the suggested lifestyle to be practiced by someone who deals with Osteoporosis and how you can prevent it from affecting your residents health. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

Tuition Fee: $30.00

(Plus $1 convenience fee if paid by card)

This  In-Service course will provide you information regarding Osteoporosis in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2  In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
