Course Description: In this course, you will review the two major categories of a stroke. You will learn how it can affect a person’s cognition and behavior and some of the challenges that a resident may experience during treatment. This course contains essential information a caregiver should know so when a caregiver does run into a situation where a resident experiences a stroke, they are aware of what is going on. At the end of this course, you will receive 1 in-service unit.

Tuition Fee: $15.00

(Plus $1 convenience fee if paid by card)

This  In-Service course will provide you information regarding Stroke in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 1  In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
