Course Description: In this course, you will review the reasons for therapeutic diets and the common therapeutic diets that are ordered to a resident due to their condition of health. This course contains essential information a caregiver should know to ensure the best care for their residents. Each resident may be ordered different therapeutic diets - it is important to know what the diet ordered is and how to perform it. At the end of this course, you will receive 3 in-service units.

This  In-Service course will provide you information regarding Therapeutic Diets in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 3  In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
