Course Description: this course will teach you all of the basics you need to know about nutrition such as the vitamins and minerals that are essential to our diets. This course will also go over the types of diets and types of tube feeding that is required to be performed with certain residents. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

This Caregiver In-Service course will provide you information regarding Nutrition in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 1 In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282. 

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
