Course Description: In this course, you will review the food safety manual and its importance to the health of your residents and your environment. This course discusses topics such as potentially hazardous foods, major food allergens, sickness. You will learn the proper protocols that need to be taken to prevent the potential dangers that can be caused when cooking and serving food to your residents. At the end of this course, you will receive 4 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Food Safety in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 4 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282. 


NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
