Course Description: This course will review culture and cultural differences found in the healthcare industry. You will learn more about how cultural differences, stereotyping, and religious beliefs can cause issues in your workplace. This course will also review how to communicate with the other party when you are involved in a situation where there is conflict. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding communication and cultural diversity in an assisted living setting.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
