Course Description: This course will go over common, chronic, and acute conditions such as musculo-skeletal disorders, circulatory disorders, cancer and disorders found in the nervous system and endocrine system. This course also provides helpful tips on how to go about dealing with these conditions. After this course, you will be more knowledgeable about the conditions, attitudes to develop when handling clients with these conditions, and how to better communicate with the resident and family. At the end of this course, you will receive 4 in-service units.

This Caregiver In-Service course will provide you information regarding Chronic and Acute Conditions in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 4 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282. 

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
