Course Description: This course will review the stages of dying and the stages of grief. It will also give the caregiver deeper knowledge on how to care for a dying resident and what their rights are if they are terminally ill. You will also learn about hospice care and what hospice programs are available to the residents. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 units.

This Caregiver In-Service course will provide you information regarding Death and Dying in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 1 In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843  E. Southern Ave Tempe AZ, 85282. 

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
