Course Description: In this course you will review common pain behaviors found in residents who have dementia. You will have a better understanding of what kind of physical, verbal, and behavioral signs to look out for when caring for a resident who has dementia and needs to be relieved of their pain. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding Pain in Dementia in an assisted living or behavioral setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2 In-Service Units

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E. Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
