Course Description: This course reviews basic caregivers skills and knowledge needed to know as you begin your career as a caregiver. This course contains essential information that educates the duties and responsibilities you will carry out when working on the field. Once this course is completed, you will receive 12 hours of In-Service Units. A few topics that this course goes over includes: levels of care, medication management, and disaster planning.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding a refresher on Caregiving in an assisted living setting.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
