Course Description: This course will review the communication and cognition efforts you will need to make as a caregiver. You will learn tips and techniques on how to deal with residents with hearing loss and dementia. You will also learn more about cognitive impairment and behaviors. At the end of this course, you will receive 2 in-service units.

Tuition Fee: $30

(Plus $1 convenience fee if paid by card)

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding communication and cognition in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 2 In-Service Unit

·         Registration for payment:

o    via Paypal or

o    via the ALTS Office located at: 1843 E Southern Ave Tempe, AZ 85282.

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
