Course Description: This course will review what the caregiver will need to know about how to care for a resident who is experiencing their final stages of life. You will come out of this course with a better understanding of what kind of attitude you will need to develop towards the topic of death to meet the physical and psychological needs of the resident and the family. At the end of this course, you will receive 3 in-service units.

This In-Service course will provide you information regarding caring for dying residents in an assisted living setting.

·         This course will award a certificate for: 3 In-Service Units

NOTE: Once enrolled, you are given only 2 weeks to complete this course, unless suggested otherwise by an ALTS instructor. If you would like to go past your enrollment period there will be an extension fee of $5.00; you can only be re-enrolled one time.
